Three men engaged the employees in a shop in Silz on Thursday morning and were able to steal 100 euros through a bill fraud. The con artists were caught in another shop, but they were able to escape.
At around 10.45 a.m., the three previously unknown perpetrators entered a shop in Silz. “When paying for low-priced goods, they paid with a hundred-euro banknote, involved the employees in a conversation and initially took the banknote back with them unnoticed,” the police said.
Saleswoman noticed fraud
During another attempt at fraud in another shop in Silz, the seller noticed the fraud. She was able to snatch part of the change from the perpetrators before the perpetrators fled the business.
The perpetrator description:
- Perpetrator: Male, corpulent, wearing a blue jacket, beige adidas jogging suit with white stripes and white / green sneakers.
- Perpetrator: Male, dressed in black, wore black and white sneakers.
- Perpetrator: Male, corpulent, wearing a dark blue vest and a gray flat cap.
