Stéphane Richard will remain in office until April 4, when Christel Heydemann will become CEO of Orange. After this separation of powers, “SR” will hold the position of non-executive chairman until May 19, the date of the Ordinary General Assembly (AG). However, the name of his successor to the presidency should be known no later than March 30, when the agenda for the GA will be set by the board of directors.
For now, the game is still open: a first list of applicants has been presented to Christel Heydemann without the rare pearl being unearthed. The name of Jacques Ashenbroich, president of Valeo, is nevertheless regularly mentioned. But he is also expected to sit on the board of directors of Total.
