In the B-series horror comedy Slotherhouse, college student Emily wants to be elected president of her sorority. When she adopts an adorable sloth, she realizes that the animal can become the house’s new mascot and help her win votes. The pet named Alpha is very popular in the house until a series of deaths points to the sloth as the prime suspect in the murders. Removed from its natural habitat, the animal becomes aggressive and wreaks havoc at the University.
Directed by Matthew Goodhue, this horror comedy is led by Lisa Ambalavanar, already seen in the series The A-List broadcast on Netflix, Stefan Kapicic, soon to be cast in The Last Voyage of Demeter and Deadpool 3 and Sydney Craven (Jeepers Creepers Reborn). The film will be available online in the United States from August 30.
