After the hut party – a drunk man (20) triggers a mountain rescue mission

A young German in Vorarlberg arranged for a mountain rescue and police operation at night. After the 20-year-old had celebrated with friends at the Emser hut and had consumed some alcohol, he left the hut alone.

On Saturday evening, a 20-year-old German hiker visited the Emser Hut in Hohenems with friends. Early on Sunday morning around 2.15 a.m., the man left the hut alone in the direction of the Gsohlalpe in an intoxicated state.

Since he could no longer be found, a search was initiated with 13 rescue workers and five police officers. The young man was finally found unharmed by the mountain rescue team in the direction of the Ranzenbergalpe.
