On May 8, Antoine Alléno lost his life at the age of 24, hit on a scooter as he was leaving his service, by a drunk driver and repeat offender, driving a stolen car. This tragedy puts an abrupt end to the rise of a young chef whose talent was gradually asserting itself under the moved and admiring gaze of his father, Yannick. This broken destiny also marks the end of a fraternal and promising duo.

To raise the name of Alléno ever higher, the two brothers divided up the tasks: Thomas, at the head of an event agency to highlight his father’s work and Antoine, in the kitchen, to “incarnate the new generation of cooks determined to revolutionize the French gastronomic landscape”.
Thomas mentioned the projects they were still discussing, during a last coffee together, a few days before the tragedy: “Him in the kitchen, me at the cash register. This was the plan since to learn how to manage a business, I took on the role of an entrepreneur and created my company. Deprived of this brother, “this double”, Thomas wants to perpetuate the memory of Antoine and, for him, not to let go, faithful to the promise that Yannick made to his deceased son on Instagram: “Your big brother and I are going to build again and again, with you to guide us, with this high gaze you have from the heavens, even more beautiful things!”
