Properties of the Apple AirPods
When buying, you should also make sure that it is the current generation of Apple AirPods, i.e. the 3rd generation. Many retailers do not explicitly list the addition, which is why you should look carefully at the product description. The model numbers will help you here:
- 1st generation: A1523, A1722
- 2nd generation: A2032, A2031
- 3rd generation: A2565, A2564
Especially with used goods, it can happen that an offer for the Apple AirPods does not refer to a current copy of the 3rd generation, but to the predecessor models. For music enthusiasts, a purchase is only worthwhile if the prices fall below 80 euros. The 1st generation is now only rarely offered.
Apple AirPods Max: Different shape, similar functions
An alternative for those who might not like to wear ear plugs are the already mentioned Apple AirPods Max. If you like the over-ear headphones with telescopic arms, ear cushions and a whopping eight microphones, you shouldn’t be long with cheap deals on Black Friday hesitate.
