Hollywood star Al Pacino was greeted by an enthusiastic crowd in front of his hotel in Milan.

The shooting of Ridley Scott's (83, "Blade Runner") new film "House of Gucci" has been going on in Italy since February 2021. Hollywood veteran Al Pacino (80) also plays a role in the star-studded strip. During a break in filming, Pacino took a little break in Milan and stayed in a five-star hotel. But apparently word got around quickly that the actor was in town. When leaving the hotel, the 80-year-old was surrounded by an enthusiastic crowd of fans.

Pacino waved calmly to his fans and then, protected by a mouth and nose cover, took plenty of time for selfies and autographs. In addition to Pacino, Adam Driver (37) and Lady Gaga (34) can be seen in the main roles and Jeremy Irons (72) and Jared Leto (49) in other supporting roles in the biographical crime thriller.

Lady Gaga plays the "Black Widow"

The film is based on the book "The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamor and Greed" by Sara Gay Forden. Driver plays Maurizio Gucci, the grandson of Guccio Gucci, who founded the world-famous fashion house in 1947. Meanwhile, Lady Gaga slips into the role of Maurizio Gucci's (ex-) wife Patrizia Reggiani (72), who was given the name "Black Widow" after his murder in 1995.

Three years later she was finally sentenced to 29 years in prison for the assignment to murder her ex-husband. The sentence was finally shortened to 26 years, but in 2016 she was released after 18 years for good conduct. Jeremy Irons plays Rodolfo Gucci, father of Driver's character Maurizio. Al Pacino will play Aldo Gucci, the eldest son of founder Guccio Gucci and brother of Rodolfo. Jared Leto in turn slips into the role of Aldo Gucci's son Paolo.
