PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–Renewable energy producer Albioma announced on Monday that the KKR fund held 83.44% of its capital and voting rights following the friendly tender offer closed July 27.

The offer will soon be reopened at the same price, the company added.

The American fund KKR filed in mid-May a proposed takeover bid for Albioma at a price of 50 euros per share, ex-dividend, and intends to withdraw the producer of renewable energies from listing if it obtains at least 90% of the capital.

The offer received the support of Albioma’s board of directors and its main shareholders. Bpifrance, which owns 5% of the company, concluded an agreement on May 13 by which the public bank undertakes to invest alongside KKR in the company.
