When Hilaria Baldwin and Alec Baldwin announced on Instagram a few days ago that they had had another baby, many people asked themselves how that was possible. After all, the youngest Baldwin offspring is just five months old. Now there is an explanation.
It was the surprise news of the last few days: Hilaria Baldwin, 37, and Alec Baldwin, 62, have become parents for the sixth time. The new baby blessing came surprisingly early. Only five months after the birth of the youngest Baldwin offspring Eduardo, Lucia saw the light of day. On Instagram, the couple dropped the baby bomb on Monday (March 1st) – and caused many question marks among the fans. How did baby Lucia get into the family?

But it is the smallest of the bunch that attracts attention. Because with the photo, Hilaria and Alec presented their "Lucia" to the world. The baby is only likely to be a few days old, making it only around five months younger than her brother Eduardo. Speculations quickly arose that Lucia had been carried to term by a surrogate mother. And that seems to be the case too.

As "Us Weekly" confirmed on Wednesday (March 3rd), the youngest member of the family came by surrogate mother. Alec and Hilaria fulfill their very personal dream with baby number six, as the 37-year-old writes on Instagram: "We are so in love with our daughter Lucia. Like your brothers and sister, you are a dream come true."
Has family planning been completed with the Baldwins?
Is that the end of family planning for the Baldwins? Not clear. The fact is that Alec and Hilaria apparently can't get enough – and fully immerse themselves in their parenting role. And Carmen, 7, Rafael, 5, Leonardo, 4, Romeo, 2, Eduardo and Lucia should certainly not say no to another playmate.
