Invited in the morning of CNEWS this Thursday morning, the deputy LFI Alexis Corbière said he was confident about the conclusion of an agreement with the Socialist Party.
“I hope that this agreement will be adopted. The objective is to create the best conditions so that we can win the elections in June,” said Alexis Corbière.
Despite the opposition of PS executives like François Hollande, Bernard Cazeneuve or Carole Delga, the LFI deputy says he is optimistic. “There is a new generation of socialist leaders around Olivier Faure. There is a new political landscape,” he said.
Asked about the issue of constituencies, Alexis Corbière assures that “with the Socialists, the discussions were first political”. “What we are talking about is increasing the minimum wage, retirement at 60, more democratic institutional changes, implementing ecological planning policies”.
