Indicted for conflict of interest because of his links with the Italian-Swiss shipowner MSC, Alexis Kohler is undoubtedly supported by his wife Sylvie, with whom he has been married for nearly 20 years.

Thus, while he sat between 2010 and 2012 on the board of directors of STX France, of which the Italian-Swiss shipowner was the main client, he also worked at the State Participations Agency. According to an article by Mediapart, published in 2018, he took part in the discussions and votes in favor of MSC.

It was in 2003 that the secretary general of the Élysée married this Alsatian author of novels and plays. After working for three years at France Culture, she joined the Hermès company in the United States for several years.
