Alizée reveals her beauty secrets

The singer – who poses for KVD Vegan Beauty – received us in her Corsican dance studio, to reveal her best beauty tips.

Whether she's the 2000s Lolita or today's singer / dancer / mom, Alizée has fun with makeup, but not at any cost. That's what she told us when we had the opportunity to meet her a few weeks ago in her Corsican dance studio. It was then the occasion for her to strike a pose for the campaign of Lolita, the famous shade of KVD Vegan Beauty which gave birth to a whole collection.

" The brand has so many good products that I immediately liked the proposed collaboration, as well as the different shootings offered. "(Besides the Lolita campaign, Alizée will play other launches, to be discovered in a few months …). "I let myself be guided and I really liked the looks chosen"Adds Alizée before assuring that she could not have asked for better collaboration:"I like it, when I have projects, that there is a little bit of me, and a little bit of the people I work with. It's a real mix between the brand and who I really am". No wonder that for these shoots, the young woman wanted to work with Rudy Marmet, the hairdresser who has followed her since her stint in Dance With The Stars, and with whom she dared everything, even to become blonde, she that we always have known brunette.

We can be tattooed and glamorous!

"The brand has a rock and glamor side that I really like, but also a penchant for tattooing that is firmly rooted in its DNA. For a long time, tattoos were reserved for male prisoners. Now you can be feminine and have tattoos, and I think the brand and its very feminine packaging are the perfect embodiment of that.»Explains Alizée, herself very fond of body inking, as is Katherine von Drachenberg Galeano, known as Kat Von D, the creator of KVD Vegan Beauty.

"Fresh like a Lolita"

Since her beginnings, Alizée has loved "when makeup remains natural". The perfect make-up for her: "a pretty matte mouth well hydrated, being able to brighten up your complexion and make beautiful eyes, while staying fresh like a lolita". So,exitThe gloss that stuck to her hair from her debut, the singer now opts for more pigmented lipsticks, capable of holding up without a doubt the time of the stage shows she knows the secret. It must be said that between song and frenzied dancing, Alizée must be able to count on professional-looking makeup, despite the perspiration and friction of the hair. And in her eyes, just because the makeup offered by KVD Vegan Beauty is vegan doesn't mean that it performs less well.

A woman's life at 100 per hour

"I often use primer after cleansing my skin with micellar water. My favorite: Lock-it moisturizing primer to minimize touch-ups throughout the day»Admits Alizée who juggles between her different activities during the day. "I've always been obsessed with my lashes, and put on a lot of mascara. The Go Big or Go Home mascara is really good because I have long lashes and I like to give them a lot of volume. With this one in two layers, I have volume and I don't feel the need to put on extensions or false eyelashes, although I know it's very trendy»Adds the singer, for whom mascara is a fabulous asset to open the eyes and attract all eyes on stage. "I also like having rosy cheeks and what I like about KVD Vegan Beauty products is that they last all day despite my life as a mom, my dance lessons at school …"Her essential beauty is undoubtedly the blush, which she chooses voluntarily rosé, despite the recommendations that often invite brunettes to opt for orange shades. In short, when it comes to beauty, Alizée listens to herself and indulges herself in ignoring what to say. Her final advice for a top-notch return to school: "take care of your skin after the sun and stay as light as possible in the complexion, to still enjoy the pretty tan obtained during the summer".
