Another member of the Schell family has made serious allegations: Maximilian Schell’s daughter has now spoken out.

In her book “Scenes of No Marriage,” which will be published on October 2nd, author Marie Theres Relin (57), daughter of actress Maria Schell (1926-2005), makes serious allegations. According to the magazine “Bunte” she states that she was “sexually abused, seduced and deflowered” by her uncle at the age of 14. She does not mention her uncle’s name in the joint work with her ex-husband Franz “Picture”: “I was sexually abused by my father!”

So she always slept in bed with my father “after my parents separated.” From the age of nine onwards, attacks began to occur: “Children of the age I was at then cannot judge what is right or wrong.” Her specific accusation: “Carssing and being touched in the intimate area is sexual abuse. And that’s what he did. Just because there wasn’t penetration doesn’t mean that this is any less abuse.”

Regarding Marie Theres Relin’s descriptions, she says: “I believe her that it happened. I have no doubts about that.”

That’s why Relin kept quiet about the incident

“Bunte” had quoted, among other things, a passage from Relin’s book in which the author explained why she had remained silent for so long: “I denied myself – for the sake of peace… the all-powerful famous family breathing down my neck took air to breathe.” That’s how she knew “that I couldn’t confide the events of that night to anyone.” Her mother would never have believed her. “She would have defended herself vehemently if someone had spread dirt on the family with pointed fingers. She would have insisted on evidence or even suspected me of being a Lolita. I was ashamed.”
