Alstom: appointment of the new CFO hailed on the Stock Exchange


(CercleFinance.com) – Alstom gains more than 3% and is thus in the top tier of the CAC40, the markets reacting favorably to the announcement, Friday evening, of the appointment of Bernard Delpit as new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) starting June 30.

Bernard Delpit has held management positions in various business sectors, including automotive, aeronautics and banking. Most recently, he was deputy managing director of the Belgian investment company Groupe Bruxelles Lambert.

“We believe that the profile makes a lot of sense for Alstom”, judge Oddo BHF, highlighting his very experienced profile, his experience in the industry and major contracts, and seeing an asset in his passage through the banking world.

In addition, the transport equipment manufacturer also announced the appointment of Helen Bradley as the new director of human resources. She will join Alstom after having held the same position at Bureau Veritas since 2018.
