Alvaro Soler enriches the guessing team in the new “The Masked Singer” season.

When “The Masked Singer” starts the new season, Ruth Moschner will be joined by a new puzzle colleague, Alvaro Soler.
The ninth season of the ProSieben show “The Masked Singer” starts in less than a week. The broadcaster has not yet revealed which masks will be included in the fall season. And of course the celebrities who hide in the creative costumes are again top secret. The first secret has already been revealed: Ruth Moschner (47) In the new episodes, the singer Alvaro Soler (32) is at her side for the advice team.
“The Masked Singer” is “like the Secret Service”
“I think it’s really crazy how secret everything is here,” says Soler in a press release from the station. “You really don’t know anything! It’s like the Secret Service, just absurd.” The singer already has experience: around two years ago he was a guest on the advice team.
Moschner, meanwhile, sees Soler as a real asset. “I think that the female fans in particular will be very happy about his presence and his charm,” she is quoted as saying. “Alvaro also proved with his previous guest appearance on the panel that he is very good at guessing, because he provided valuable input back then. That enriched our team a lot!”
In “The Masked Singer,” disguised celebrities stand on stage, present songs, and the guessing team and viewers have to figure out the stars before they gradually drop their masks in the individual episodes. The new round of puzzles begins next Saturday, November 18th, from 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben and Joyn. Matthias Opdenhövel (53) will moderate again.
