With the purchase, Amazon underscores its efforts in the streaming market in the fight against competitors such as Netflix, Disney + or Apple TV +. Upcoming films from the MGM portfolio include the postponed “James Bond 007: No Time to Die”, in which Daniel Craig (53) can be seen for the last time as the British agent, and “House of Gucci” with Lady Gaga (35) and Adam Driver (37). Both films are expected to open towards the end of the year.
