Ambulance by Michael Bay: Jake Gyllenhaal robber on the run in the explosive trailer

After a passage by Netflix with “6 Underground”, Michael Bay returns to cinemas. But he does not neglect action, as evidenced by the muscular trailer for “Ambulance”, expected on March 23.

When Michael Bay orchestrates a robbery, things obviously won’t go smoothly, so the director can make his mastery speak when it comes to action. Ambulance’s pitch clearly implied this, and the first trailer explosively confirms it.

Two years after the release of 6 Underground on Netflix, the director of Rock and Transformers is preparing his return to dark rooms. It will be March 23 in France, with the story of two brothers who plan a robbery. Which, therefore, goes wrong, which forces them to steal an ambulance with, on board, a paramedic and a patient in critical condition: a policeman whom they have visibly injured.

Led by Jake Gyllenhaal, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Eiza Gonzalez (taken in a new story of chase after Baby Driver), Ambulance bears the mark of its director, whose style we quickly recognize. In the way of filming the action obviously, but also the camera angles or the way the sunlight permeates the image.

A feature film which, like all those of Michael Bay, promises to be muscular. But the relationship between the two brothers should be central and bring a little humanity to the story through flashbacks. While the reasons that push them to act like this recall both Rock (the non-recognition of services rendered to the country) and No Pain No Gain. See you in four months to find out if it was just an impression.

This gives you time to discover the Danish film from which this one is inspired, and which is available on Netflix.
