“Anatomy of a Fall” exceeds one million spectators in theaters, failing to represent France at the Oscars

Anatomy of a fallwhich meticulously dissects the balance of power and domination within a couple of artists, will however not be presented by France at the Oscars for best foreign film, as its promoters hoped.
