The “Sex and the City” revival “And Just Like That …” started with a shock for the fans. When Carrie returns home from Lily’s concert, she finds Big in the bathroom with a heart attack. Her husband dies shortly afterwards in her arms.
Now big actor Chris Noth (“Law & Order”) spoke in an interview about the death of his character. At first, Noth was afraid to come back and die, but in talks with series creator Michael Patrick King they found a solution.
“All things come to an end and it was time for him [Big] to go. […] There was no other way out than to die, “the actor told Vogue magazine.
It was for both of us [Noth und King] very important to find a way to experience that last moment together and not for her to walk in and find me dead in the bathroom. It was very important for me to come back. And the rest is just chemistry with SJ [Sarah Jessica Parker]. We have known each other for a long time.

Noth did not want to reveal whether Big would be seen again in “And Just Like That …” despite his death, but he did make hints that he could return again. Big has already “risen” again in a commercial for the Peloton brand. Peloton’s commercial starring Mr. Big and Ryan Reynolds pokes fun at episode 1 spoilers.
