Andrea Gerhard will say goodbye to the series in the current season of “Der Bergdoktor”. She confirmed this on Instagram.

Andrea Gerhard (40) says goodbye to the ZDF hit series “Der Bergdoktor”. In an Instagram post, the actress playing the doctor’s assistant Linn Kemper writes: “It’s not easy to put into words what I’m feeling right now. With the sixth film of the 17th season of ‘Der Bergdoktor’ I’m leaving the series .” She also published a series of series photos in which she can be seen with her co-stars, including lead actor Hans Sigl (54).

Andrea Gerhard will “miss her role so much”

Her role Linn was part of her for six years. She describes the role as “straight, humorous, honest & self-determined”. She was able to learn a lot from her and racked her brains about her countless times. “We fell together and we got up together. I will miss her so much.”

The decision by the ndF (the production company Neue deutsche Filmgesellschaft) and ZDF “surprised them, but I had enough time to get used to the idea,” Gerhard continues. “You know that I always see the glass half full and firmly believe that change is good.” Therefore, your gaze is directed forward. From now on her fans will be able to see her in other productions and she is “bursting with curiosity about what roles, projects and productions are still waiting for me”.

She will also be seen in “The Mountain Doctor,” explains Gerhard. “On February 15th ‘Life Paths’ will be shown and on February 22nd ‘Late Consequences’, the last episode with me.” ZDF explained upon request from “t-online” on the reasons for Gerhard’s departure: “With the development of new impulses for the narrative arc of the horizontal story, ZDF and production decided, in agreement with the actress, not to continue the role.”
