Material You aims to give users the opportunity to change the design and choose the colors according to their own preferences. With the update, there will now be some brighter and more intense colors. For example, until now, red has tended to be more of an almost translucent pink. With the update, a real red is now also displayed in the appropriate places, should you decide to do so. In addition, the ”color” black is added, which can also be graded to new shades of gray.
More focus on the ”You”
As a result, Google seems to be trying to put more focus on the ”You” of ”Material You” so that everyone can create their own unique design. Exactly when these features will be implemented in test versions of Android is still unclear, but we will probably learn more in the coming weeks.
