There are currently four fake apps in the Google Play Store. The aim of the applications is to lure you to dangerous sites and infect your cell phone with malware.

Again and again, apps appear in the Google Play Store that pretend to be helpful programs, but in fact infect you with malware. Currently you have to beware of four such fake apps. The scammers behind this attack not only make money from you, but also want your data.
When using the infected programs, you will be redirected to dangerous websites. For every person who visits the site, the criminals behind the scam receive money. These pay-per-click ads are on the rise lately and included in many fake apps. This process is annoying at first, but not a direct threat. However, as The Hacker News reports, you will be spotted on the said sites by cleaner apps that are infected with malware and search your smartphone for sensitive data.
The affected applications all come from the manufacturer “Mobile apps Group” and have not yet been removed from the Google Play Store. If you have Bluetooth App Sender, Bluetooth Auto Connect, Driver: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB or Mobile transfer: smart switch on your phone, you should delete them immediately. Taken together, the four programs were downloaded more than a million times.
