“I am pleased that I received the first vaccination with AstraZeneca today,” said Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Chancellor Angela Merkel (66) received her first dose of vaccine on Friday (April 16). “I am pleased that I received the first vaccination with AstraZeneca today,” said the Chancellor in a statement, the government spokesman Steffen Seibert (60) published via Twitter. “I would like to thank everyone who is involved in the vaccination campaign – and everyone who is vaccinated. Vaccination is the key to overcoming the pandemic.”
