On Tuesday evening, the Poggersdorf fire brigade was alerted to an animal rescue in the area of the Rain power plant on the Gurk: Again a deer was in the water and needed help.
When the fire brigade arrived at the Gurk power station, walkers drew attention to the deer in the Gurk. The comrades were able to quickly save the animal from the water and release it into the wild. The deer was not injured.
