For Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter Dannielynn’s 17th birthday, her father Larry Birkhead published an emotional post.
The daughter of erotic model Anna Nicole Smith (1967-2007), Dannielynn Birkhead, is 17 years old. Her father Larry Birkhead (50) congratulated her on this occasion with a sweet Instagram post.

In a conversation with “People” In May, Birkhead talked about Dannielynn looking at colleges across the country. “Every time I get something in the mail for college, I don’t know if I really want to give it to her because she could take that offer and go to college somewhere. It’s one of those things that every parent goes through. You don’t want their kids to run away, but they know they have to.” He also talked about how many similarities Dannielynn had with her late mother: she was just as generous – and there were also similarities when it came to food. “And at the same time, she’s just as picky eater as her mom. Oh my God! She doesn’t eat meat at all, but she’s not a big fan of vegetables either.” Instead, she loves pasta and pizza. “We add vitamins and other things to make her well-rounded. She gets a lot of sauce on her pizza. Her mother was also a sauce and spice freak.”
The tragic life of Anna Nicole Smith
Anna Nicole Smith became known as a “Playboy” and “Guess” model. Her breakthrough came in 1993 when she was voted “Playmate of the Year.” Her journey into the public eye began as a dancer in a strip club in Texas, where she was discovered. At that time she already had a child from an early marriage; her son was born in 1986. One of the club’s customers, oil billionaire J. Howard Marshall (1905-1995), fell in love with Smith and married her in 1994. He was 89 at the time and she was 26, which is why the relationship received a lot of public attention. When Marshal died 14 months later, a years-long battle over the inheritance with the billionaire’s son ensued. Both Anna Nicole Smith and Marshall’s descendant died before a final decision was made. Throughout her life, Smith received nothing from her husband’s inheritance. She died of a drug overdose in 2007 at the age of 39. Shortly before, her 20-year-old son had died in the same tragic way.
Just a few months before her death on February 8, 2007, Anna Nicole Smith became a mother again: on September 7, 2006, she gave birth to her second child, daughter Dannielynn Hope. In April 2007, Larry Birkhead was confirmed as the father through DNA analysis.
