“Sat.1-Frühstücksfernsehen” presenter Alina Merkau will go on maternity leave on Friday, with Annika Lau and Karen Heinrichs taking over.
Alina Merkau, 35, is saying goodbye to maternity leave – but the viewers of “Sat.1 Breakfast TV” can look forward to Annika Lau, 42, and Karen Heinrichs, 47, on the show. Merkau, who is expecting her second child, will be saying goodbye on June 4, 2021 during her temporary break from moderation.
Annika Lau returns
Annika Lau is already looking forward to her temporary early bird job at the side of Matthias Killing, 41. “It’s a bit like coming home,” says the wife of actor Frederick Lau, 31. She moderated the show between 2006 and 2007 and between 2010 and 2013. Heinrichs has been part of the current team of moderators since 2007.
