Ubisoft Blue Byte can boast of having hit hard with ANNO 1800. The time management and strategy game was launched in April 2019, only on PC, and it has since hosted a lot of additional content, paid and free. And in December 2021, the title had two million players.
A figure that has obviously evolved since then, Ubisoft announces thatANNO 1800 now has over 2.5 million players around the world, and it’s far from over. The studio announces thatANNO 1800 will soon arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, its release date is set for March 16, 2023. Provided by Ubisoft Mainzthat Console Edition will benefit from a user interface and controls adapted for gamepads and consoles. Stéphane Jankowski, executive producer, adds:
