As said above, the focal point of this event is the addition of the Habitat 4 card (which had leaked a few weeks ago), for the Arena mode. This one is more extensive than the other cards in this mode, since it emphasizes the “ Leviathans and the hostile behavior these creatures can sometimes adopt “. Although the characteristics of the Arena mode are preserved, we will have the right to a new vision of things with Habita 4, which is not moreover from a map present in Apex Legends, although it is in the same archipelago as Storm Zone, named New Antillia.
Along with this major addition, a “flash” event will be organized. The principle is simple and offers players weekly challenges allowing you to win unique prizes and exclusive badges. Here is an overview of the rewards:

- January 18 to 25
- Main Prizes: Apex Pack, Epic Valkyrie Holo Spray, Abyss Pack

Naturally, other thematic items can be unlocked, while Abyss Packs will integrate the shop, in exchange for 400 coins.
The Abyss event in Apex Legends will start on January 11, 2022 and will conclude three weeks later, on February 1, just before the new season of the battle royale.
