Apollo Global reportedly in talks to buy stake in Credit Suisse unit


Feb 7 (Reuters) – Apollo Global Management is in talks to acquire a stake in Credit Suisse Group’s investment bank CS First Boston, The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Talks initiated by a financial consortium, of which Apollo is a part, are continuing, the newspaper said, without mentioning the size of the potential stake or the value of the transaction.

Apollo Global and Credit Suisse declined to comment on the article.
