Just a year ago, Apple’s electric car project was put on a new footing with Joe Bass as software boss. so he leaves Apple and moves to Meta (Facebook), as he himself confirmed in his LinkedIn profile (source: Joe Bass on LinkedIn).
Managers Dave Scott, Jaime Waydo, Dave Rosenthal and Benjamin Lyon had already said goodbye to the Apple Car at the beginning of 2021. The leader of Apple’s EV effort, Doug Field, is not included since September 2021. Hardware boss Michael Schwekutsch no longer works at Apple either.
