The subscription video game service now offers a section grouping the titles that will soon leave the platform.

We don’t talk about it much, but Apple Arcade has come a long way since its launch almost three years ago.

A subscription service dedicated to mobile video games

It was in November 2019 that the manufacturer, as part of its strategy to invest ever more in the service sector, opened the floodgates of its subscription gaming platform.

For a price of €4.99/month, iPhone, iPad, Mac users and even those with an Apple TV can enjoy a hundred exclusive titles unlimited and without in-app purchases.

As with any self-respecting streaming platform, Apple Arcade’s catalogs evolve over time and some titles are occasionally removed from the service.

Titles soon to be removed from the catalog will no longer be playable even if you have them installed

Unlike some platforms that prefer not to communicate the list of departures, Apple Arcade now offers a new section in its interface that indicates the games that will leave the platform in the coming days. This section is available on both iOS and macOS – impossible to miss regardless of the platform you want to play on.

These are therefore fifteen titles that will soon be released:

  • Screening: First Light
  • Lifeslide
  • BattleSky Brigade: Harpooner
  • Explottens
  • Spidersaurs
  • Spelldrifter
  • Don’t Bug Me!
  • Dead End Job
  • Towaga: Among Shadows
  • Cardpocalypse
  • Dread Nautical
  • Over the Alps
  • Atone: Heart of the Elder Tree
  • EarthNight
  • Various Daylife

If you want to take advantage of it, don’t wait a second. Once the titles are removed from the catalog of Apple Arcade, you will unfortunately no longer be able to launch them, even if you have downloaded them beforehand on your smartphone, your tablet or your computer struck by an apple.

Apple Arcade now has nearly 180 games available, playable directly with the keyboard / mouse or via the touch interface of your device, but also with the joystick. Apple offers wide compatibility with support for Xbox, PS4 and PS5 controllers and recently Nintendo Switch JoyCon.
