A new advertising spot has been officially released to highlight the latest expansion of the Pokémon card game, which is already available. The latter is called Sparkling Stars and allows players to try out a new game mechanic: V-Stars. If we tell you about this extension already released it is because the recent trailer reveals to us that it is indeed Arceus who is the creator of all this. It was he, god of Pokémon, who chose the chosen ones who could possess such power. And it doesn’t stop there as the upcoming TCG expansion has also been revealed. Radiant Stars will feature cards straight from the Pokémon Legends Arceus universe!
A card expansion entirely dedicated to Pokémon Legends Arceus
In this new extension, a new mechanic will be introduced: the Pokemon Radiant. These are special cards centered around Pokemon shiny which will have a very powerful ability or attack with the potential to greatly impact the TCG metagame. Only one Radiant Pokémon will be allowed per deck. VSTAR Pokémon will also continue to be present, and a special “Trainer Gallery” analog set will also be available. It will consist of 30 cards with illustrations representing the fans’ favorite Trainers, Trainers and Pokémon.
The Radiant Stars expansion will be available from May 27, 2022 at all participating stores. As announced by TPCI, it is directly inspired by the successful video game Pokémon Legends Arceus and will therefore feature Hisui’s creatures.
Among the most notable cards, the expansion contains:
- 3 Radiant Pokémon;
- 8 Pokémon-VSTAR;
- 21 Pokémon-V and 2 Pokémon-VMAX;
- over 20 Trainer cards.
Also, don’t forget that a special Pokémon GO expansion will be available this summer.
