(Boursier.com) — During the first half of 2022, the property company Argan, a specialist in the development and rental of warehouses, generated rental income up 7% to 81.7 ME. This growth is mainly the result of the full year effect of rents generated by developments in 2021 as well as rents for deliveries in the first half of 2022.

As of June 30, 2022, the rental portfolio of the property company stood at 3.3 million m(2) and the occupancy rate remained at 99% due to the rental vacancy of the site located in the Paris region in Ferrières ( 77). Argan indicates that it is currently in advanced talks on marketing this site in the second half of the year, with effect from the first quarter of 2023.

Given the smooth progress of the development schedule and faster than expected re-lettings, Argan now expects to exceed its 2022 target of €163 million in rental income.
