A heated argument broke out in a bar in Lienz in the early hours of Sunday morning. Several men had to be taken to the hospital.
Two men, an Iranian (45) and a Czech (29), shouted at each other in a restaurant in Lienz on Sunday night. The verbal argument completely degenerated. The 29-year-old grabbed a broken glass and injured the 45-year-old in the neck. But that’s not enough. Other men and a woman also took part in the violent argument. “There were Iranians aged 16 and 20, as well as a Ukrainian and an Italian. “They all attacked each other,” is how the police describe the wild scenes. Five people were injured and had to be taken to the Lienz district hospital with cuts and lacerations. Officials say the exact cause of the argument that took place between the drunken guests is unclear.
