Arizona Sunshine 2 will deliver a new dose of zombies on December 7

The wind is blowing in Arizona…

Arizona Sunshine 2 does not intend to reinvent the powder comparison made to its elder. Or rather should we talk about dust, given the vacation spot chosen by the developers at Vertigo Games. It must be said that the extreme southeast of the United States is not known for its mild and temperate climate. Which is quite good, since the FPS designed for VR that we are dealing with will require neither leniency nor temperance. Playable solo or in cooperation, the FPS VR will complete the arsenal of 25 weapons available in AS1 with some nice new features, including a flamethrower intended to warm dying hearts and new melee weapons (crowbars, machetes, picks, etc.) which should test the new close combat system.

Our friends at the SPA will be delighted to learn that we will no longer be alone to go through the single-player campaign, since we will have at our side a canine companion with whom we can play “fetch/bring back the zombie arm”. Incidentally, it will also be useful for finding hidden items, carrying equipment and attacking the Freds who haunt these arid lands. Yes, “Fred” and not “zombie”, because of copyright, and probably because the devs must have had a grudge against certain people named Freds.

…A state in America in which Harry zoned out

Arizona Sunshine 2 is expected on PS VR2, Meta Quest and Steam VR on December 7, 2023. The title is now available for pre-order in two distinct editions:

  • A standard edition priced at €49.99 which will include as bonuses: the Biker Bark jacket, a Worker Watch and the Ducky Weapon lucky charm.
  • A deluxe edition priced at €59.99, which will contain the same bonuses as the standard edition, plus the Freddy’s hands skin, the Doggy Weapon lucky charm and the Undead Buddy skin, which will make your doggo companion a formidable weapon to kill the zombie.
