VShis is an extraordinary house, the most incredible of Arles residences. Behind its small wooden door, no one can imagine the treasures it conceals… It rises on the edge of the ancient Roman theatre, in the narrow and winding rue du Cloître, whose mansions were long reserved for high ecclesiastical dignitaries . Inhabited in its time by the Canon of Arles, it welcomes in its garden, for itself, the back of Saint-Trophime, Romanesque jewel of the XIIIe century. The current owner benefits from an exclusive right of use, which allows her to organize, in good weather, small committee dinners on the bedside, a sort of roof terrace of the cathedral.
