Arnold Schwarzenegger: The "Terminator" should become a TV hero

At the age of 73, Arnold Schwarzenegger is about to make a debut: he will become a hero in his specially produced TV series.

In his old days of action, Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger (73) is apparently still a serial hero. According to a report by the US industry website "Deadline", the production company Skydance Television is currently working on a mixture of adventure and agent series, the episodes of which should last around an hour and show Arnie as one of the two main characters. It would be his first engagement as a main character in a TV series.

What is known about the series?

Accordingly, "Scorpion" creator Nick Santora (50) is responsible for the still nameless series, in which a father (Schwarzenegger) and his daughter ensure law and order. The casting for the role of the daughter is currently still in full swing, Arnie himself is acting as executive producer.

In view of the indicated plot of the series, parallels can be drawn to James Cameron's (66) action film "True Lies". In this, too, Schwarzengger's role as a top agent worked clandestinely, while outwardly he played the harmless family man. Father of a daughter, mind you, portrayed in the 1994 film by actress Eliza Dushku (39, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer").
