Scheduled for the start of the school year, the new graphics cards Radeon RX have not finished talking about them.

The Radeon RX 7700XT and RX 7800XT should finally and very soon complete a very wobbly RDNA3 range compared to NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4000 catalog.

No less than 5 new ASRock Radeons

After the big miss from PowerColor which, at the end of last week, unveiled all the specifications of the Radeon RX 7800XT via its Red Devil Hero model, it is the little sister who is in the spotlight.

This time, the culprit is another of AMD’s major partners, the ASRock company, better known in France for its motherboards than for its graphics cards. Indeed, it has proposed for registration with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) a host of new cards.

All are logically linked to the release of the next Radeon RX and, in this case, we discover five models: two in Radeon RX 7800 (the SL 16 GB and CL 16 GB) and three in Radeon RX 7700 (the PG 12 GB, SL 12 GB and CL 12 GB). The opportunity to confirm certain information.

192-bit vs. 256-bit

First of all, it is obviously the memory capacities of the different cards which are thus confirmed with an RX 7800XT at 16 GB and an RX 7700XT at “only” 12 GB, which should remain more than sufficient.

The other important information concerns the interface bus and while the RX 7800XT adopts 256-bit, it will be necessary to settle for 192-bit on the RX 7700XT for an obviously lower bandwidth estimated at 468 GB / s against 624 Go/s for the big sister. Finally, while the GPU – the Navi 32 – is the same, it’s only used to its full potential on the RX 7800XT

On this point, we lack information about the RX 7700XT, but the GPU of the RX 7800XT will have 60 compute units for 3,840 stream processors. Finally, it should be noted that in addition to being incomplete, the data presented on the EEC registration sheets are sometimes incorrect, but there nothing seems shocking in any case.
