Assassination of Father Hamel: “I miss my brother, but I have no hatred”



On arrives in a country known to be that of Dany Boon, Armentières, a small town in the North, where Roseline Hamel has lived for more than fifty years. The sister of Father Jacques Hamel, assassinated by two terrorists on July 26, 2016, lives in a modest red brick house that resembles those nearby. Inside, there are things of life, children’s toys, trinkets, flowers, books, mail, a coffee maker from which emanates the smell of coffee that will soon be served to guests.
