The investigation is continuing. A young 30-year-old converted to Islam, who was linked on social networks with the assassin of teacher Samuel Paty in 2020 in the days preceding the attack, saw her indictment aggravated, reclassified as complicity in assassination terrorist.
Until her new interrogation before the examining magistrate on December 29, this religious wife of a man recently convicted of a terrorist attack project was suspected of criminal terrorist “association of criminals”, a less serious offense. She remains free under judicial control. His lawyer declined to comment.
According to documents consulted by Le Parisien, the investigating judge changed his analysis of the facts and now considers that the activity of Priscilla M. on social networks constitutes complicity. Because it “(strengthened) Abdoullakh Anzorov’s determination to commit the criminal act”, “(facilitated) the location of the victim” and “(gave) him the ideological arguments to commit the assassination of Samuel Paty.
Justice also accuses her of having kept Anzorov informed, at his request, of the absence of sanction against the teacher, which she would have seen as “the illustration of the non-sanction of blasphemy”.

Investigators suspect that it was through Priscilla M. that Anzorov first saw the video of Brahim Chnina, virulent against Samuel Paty, which was beginning to circulate on the internet.

According to investigators, Priscilla M. had contact with several people from the radical Islamist movement, most of whom she claims not to know. She was also very close, between April 2020 and June 2021, to the mother of one of the Bataclan attackers, Foued Mohamed Aggad, whom she met during their visits to relatives in prison.
15 people indicted
At least fifteen people are indicted in this case, including six college students, the father of the teenager and the Islamist activist Abdelhakim Sefrioui. The latter, questioned recently by the judges, is still in pre-trial detention.
On October 16, 2020, this 47-year-old history and geography professor was stabbed and then beheaded near his college in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine (Yvelines), by Abdoullakh Anzorov, a Russian refugee of Chechen origin, killed shortly afterwards by the police. In an audio message in Russian, he claimed responsibility for his gesture, congratulating himself for having “avenge the prophet” insulted in his eyes by Samuel Paty. He had learned of the controversy around the cartoons via an internet video made by Brahim Chnina, father of a schoolgirl targeted by an exclusion for indiscipline. The teenager had lied to her father: she had assured that she had been sanctioned for having spoken out against Samuel Paty’s request made to Muslim students, according to her, to report themselves during this course on caricatures, to which she had not not attended.
