The only certainty we had was that the next episode called Assassin’s Creed Mirage would be introduced there in due form, he who was again the victim of leaks yesterday with a magnificent visual of basim. The video features a young basim 20 years before the events of Valhallathen a young thief in the streets of Baghdad, who will find himself in a very bad position following a larceny, but will be saved by the help of a mysterious hooded figure member of Those we don’t see, Roshan. Regarding the game itself, it is developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux who had worked on the Wrath of the Druids DLC and promises a return to basics.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will immerse players in the heart of the 9th century, the golden age of the city of Baghdad. It will offer a well-narrated action-adventure experience with an intriguing and initiatory storyline, charismatic characters, a majestic open-world city and modernized gameplaybut incorporating the iconic elements of the Assassin’s Creed franchise: parkour, stealth and assassination. In Assassin’s Creed Mirage players will embody a new hero, Basim Ibn Is’haq, a street thief with a mysterious past in search of answers who will join “Those Unseen” in their fortress of Alamut. The English voice of Basim’s mentor Roshan will be dubbed by renowned Emmy Award-winning actress Shohreh Aghdashloo. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a tribute to the license and more specifically to the first Assassin’s Creed game.
“For the 15th anniversary of the franchise, we wanted to offer something special to players and our community,” said Stéphane Boudon, Senior Content Director of Assassin’s Creed Mirage. “We want to offer players a modernized version of the iconic Assassin’s Creed game experience as well as a deep dive into the rituals and principles of “Those Unseen”, which we’re sure should excite our long-time fans and new ones alike. »
When can we find out Assassin’s Creed Mirage ? For the moment, the only certainty is thatit will be available 2023 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox OneCP (Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store) and Amazon Luna, in addition to being playable by subscribers Ubisoft+.
