The short-term future of licensing Assassin’s Creed from March 10 will go through a mythological extension to Valhalla, Dawn of Ragnarök, in terms of new content, but Ubisoft will meanwhile bring back his beloved hero Ezio Auditore, as we have just learned. No, no new adventure, the publisher will simply port The Ezio Collection to the console of Nintendo, the Switch.
So after Assassin’s Creed III Remastered (including Assassin’s Creed Liberation Remastered) and compilation The Rebel Collection (Black flag and Snape) released in 2019, it is Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection which will finally be playable everywhere thanks to the hybrid console, it is about time. Scheduled for release from February 17, 2022, this video game collection will therefore include, as on PS4, Xbox One and PC, the games Assassin’s Creed II, Brotherhood and Revelations, without the multiplayer obviously, and the two short films Lineage and Embers.
And as you can see in the trailer released for the occasion, a physical version is planned, but only the second episode will be on the cartridge, the others to be downloaded on theeShop…
The Switch Lite is sold € 199.99 on Amazon.
