Released in November 2020, and constantly supplied with new content and DLC since then, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has and continues to be a real success with players. So much so that it is the first opus of the Assassin’s Creed license to have reached a very important level: it has generated more than a billion dollars in revenue, according to the latest known figures and the words of the CEO of Ubisoft.
Indeed, during a recent call with investors, elements of which can be found on the Axios site, Yves Guillemot, CEO of Ubisoft, returned to the success of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. He thus announced that in December 2021, this opus had generated a billion dollars. Of all the Assassin’s Creed titles in the license, he is the first to have reached this level. Which is not surprising since, as a reminder, the app has the biggest launch in the series’ history, to date. And it’s a safe bet that it will still be of interest to players in the coming weeks since Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will host a third expansion, Dawn of Ragnarök, on March 10 on most gaming platforms.
