Before a mass panic broke out at the Astroworld festival, the police are said to have warned rapper Travis Scott.

In a mass panic at the Astroworld Festival in Houston, eight people were killed during an appearance by Travis Scott (30). As it is now known, police chief Troy Finner allegedly warned the rapper beforehand.

A person not named told the New York Timesthat Finner should have spoken to Scott before the performance. He allegedly warned the rapper of a heated atmosphere in the crowd. However, referring to the ongoing investigations, a police spokeswoman did not want to confirm whether the conversation had taken place.

Concertgoers sued Drake and Travis Scott

Scott and his colleague Drake (35), who was also on stage, are sued for more than one million US dollars by a festival-goer who claims to have been “seriously injured” in the panic. This accuses the rappers, among other things, of inciting the crowd, as reported by the “Daily Mail”, among others.

Eight people died and more than 300 were injured, some seriously, in the mass panic in Houston, Texas, on Friday evening.
