This Saturday, May 27, Yannick Noah stepped on the clay again at Roland-Garros. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of his victory in the tournament, he offered a private concert to the spectators, under the tender gaze of three of his children.

As usual, he was barefoot. Yannick Noah walked the ocher ground of the Philippe-Chatrier court of Roland-Garros this Saturday, May 27 to the delight of the spectators present in the bays. But this time, he had no racket in hand, but rather a microphone. Because the 63-year-old former sportsman, back in shape after a small health scare, gave an unprecedented concert, on the eve of the start of the tournament. The reason ? He was celebrating the fortieth anniversary of his title, under the gaze of three of his children: Joakim Noah, Jenaye Noah and Joalukas Noah.

Accompanied by his wife, Lais Ribeiro, Joakim, swayed his hips with Jenaye and Joalukas throughout the concert, visibly delighted, those who were seated in the front row. Only Yéléna and Eleejah, the two other daughters of the former tennis player, were missing. A special moment that moreover was renamed for the occasionwhich is traditionally dedicated to children. It was named “Yannick Noah day”. On Instagram, everyone shared their pride in being present for this beautiful day.
