Ateme widens its losses in the first half

(AOF) – Ateme presented degraded accounts in the first half against a backdrop of a sharp increase in R&D investments and sales and marketing costs. The company posted a net loss, group share, of 3.3 million euros compared to -0.1 million euros a year earlier. The video broadcasting specialist suffered an operational loss of 2.4 million euros, compared to -1.3 million euros in the first half of 2022. The turnover for the first half amounted to 49.1 million euros, an increase of 15% on a published basis and 14% on a comparable basis.

“The seasonality of turnover, with a second half always higher than that of the first, should be confirmed again in 2023,” explains Atem. Consequently, the turnover growth objective of between 10 to 15% remains “perfectly achievable”, especially as the base effect is more favorable in the second half.

The group will pause its operational investments in the second half, with an overall workforce stabilized until the end of the year.

The group is convinced that the seasonal acceleration in turnover will enable it to achieve its annual EBITDA target of more than 5 million euros.

Ateme also maintains its target of 3 million euros in monthly recurring revenue in 2024.
