Atlas Fallen offers a totally offbeat live-action trailer, its fights highlighted at length with gameplay

It’s already next week that will be released Atlas Fallenthe new Action RPG of Deck13 Interactive edited by Focus Entertainment and one of the particularities of which will be to plunge us into a partly desert world. Her gameplay was detailed through an “Overview Trailer” and a video behind the scene with the developers, as well as in the detour of a trailer dedicated to the fights on which we will come back. But before that, make way for a totally crazy video simply for promotion.

In effect, This live action trailer ‘Lord of the Sands’ isn’t nearly as serious as we might think by starting playback. In a grave and prophetic tone, an old man describes what a kind of crystal ball shows him, namely a glimpse of the world ofAtlas Fallen. Inevitably, it’s not joy even if the sight of our character brings a glimmer of hope. He then sees… surf… on sand. And there the whole serious aspect disappears on a WTF that there was clearly no need to censor. Some sequences of gameplay come to show us concretely the rendering in game of these phases of movement which promise to be fun, before returning to the well-posed old man in hipster mode. For once, it has the merit of being original.

As for the trailer of gameplay combat-focusedit clearly presents elements that we already knew about the powers of the Gauntletwith the three weapons that are the DunecleaverTHE sandwhip and the Knuckledustand the gauge of momentum. The role-playing aspect is illustrated with different sets of armor, idols and the 151 Essence Stones offering many possibilities to defeat enemies. The co-op mode allowing you to carry out the adventure for two is also highlighted.

The release date ofAtlas Fallen As a reminder, is set for August 10 on PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC. You can pre-order it on Amazon at a price of €59.99.
