Attack on Titan: a short trailer for the grand finale of the series, but still no date

The general hype around The attack of the Titans has had time to fall back since the manga ended in 2021, but the anime is not finished yet although we entered the Final Season since 2020… It must be said that MAPPA did not have a good idea in naming the whole post-ellipse part of the work in this way, which by the way is far from what is often sold to the public during collaborations like the one with Fortnite in spring. At the beginning of March, we were thus able to discover the beginning of the 3rd part of Shingeki no Kyojin The Final Season, which takes the form of two special episodes. At the end of the latter, we learned that we would have to wait until this fall to finally see the end of it, with a teaser then showing us nothing. History to remember to our good memory, it is a 30-second trailer that was uploaded last night. Obviously, spoiler alert if you haven’t read the manga and want to keep the surprise, don’t watch since all the scenes are necessarily new, and don’t read what follows.

Besides the words ofArmin and the final sentence of Mikasa heavy with meaning, we are therefore entitled to various passages very well done on the background of the theme Into The Night. Between snippets of flashbacks from the characters’ childhoods, the Titan Jaw of Falcon in flight, the Titan Cart of Peak explosives in the mouth, the symbolic plan on Mikasa with the wings in his back, the surprise ofAnne and the despair that can be read on certain faces, everything is there to excite us without showing too much either.

As indicated by the mention “PV第1弾”, we will be entitled to another trailer by the broadcast, the date of which should not take too long to be communicated.

manga volumes The attack of the Titans are still available for purchase to the Fnac at a unit price of €7.20.
