Like every month, Netflix will update its catalog. A look back at the programs that will leave the platform this month of July 2022.
Last month, netflix skipped over many programs. Among the biggest losses, we find content of all kinds. In particular animated films such as Trotro, The Grinch, The Adventures of Little Brown Bear or Full Metal Alchemist. Subscribers also saw disappearing big hollywood productionslike the two Amazing Spider-Man, by Equalizer as well as Mortal Engines. For their part, fans of French films had to say goodbye to The Heartbreaker, The concert or 120 beats per minute. You are probably wondering why Netflix purifies its catalog every month? The reason is simple. The streaming giant operates on the basis of fixed-term broadcasting contracts. As soon as a content reaches the end of this period, the platform has the choice to renew the program or not. Obviously, the programs with the least audience are rarely repeated. Hence their ousting from the catalog.
In this sense, other programs will leave the platform as of July 2022. There are therefore only a few days left for subscribers to watch the shows concerned one last time. And once again, we find major productions and essentials like Spider-Man: HomecomingInterstellar, Boyz’n the Hood, Street Law, The Goonies, Scream or 12 Years a Slave. Something to worry subscribers, who see more and more big programs leaving the platform. The reason ? Perhaps Netflix’s new strategy. Indeed, the platform finds a free fall in its number of followers over the last few months. It is therefore necessary to compensate ignoring big contracts which achieve little audience.
