WHAT WE KNOW

The main objective of the series is to offer the original cartoon an adaptation in live action which will make forget the previous cinematic adaptation of M. Night Shyamalan (incidentally the least rated film of its filmography, with a rated AlloCiné only 2.1/5).

Originally, the series was developed by cartoon creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, but the latter eventually left the project due to artistic differences with Netflix.

The budget for this first season exceeds 100 million dollars, with a ratio of approximately 15 million granted to each of the eight episodes.

IS A SEASON 2 PLANNED?

No season 2 officially ordered for the time being, but there is no doubt that Netflix has a lot of hope with this series. Rumors also claim that the leaders of the platform hope to make Avatar the successor to Stranger Things.
